Members and other interested parties are reminded that submissions on rules for the 2009/2010 season will be accepted until November 1st, 2008.

 

Rule Submissions are now accepted between September 1st and November 1st, a period of eight weeks. At the end of that period submissions meeting the criteria will be circulated to the six ANDRA Divisional Councils and the Australian Drag Racing Promoters Association. They will also be posted on the ANDRA website, with all feedback required by January 31st, 2009. Criteria for submissions may be found on Pages 162 and 163 of the 2008/2009 ANDRA Rule Book.

 

All input will be considered by the ANDRA National Rules Committee, which will be made up of one representative from each Division, one representative from the Australian Drag Racing Promoters Association, plus the ANDRA Technical Officer and the ANDRA Operations Manager. That group will meet in February 2009 reject, accept or accept after rework, all compliant proposals.

 

Following that meeting a report with recommendations will be presented to the ANDRA National Control Council during April. They will endorse the recommendations where they address safety issues, enhance the operation of the sport and compliment the strategic direction of ANDRA.
