The National Control Council has voted to permit the use of ignition interruption to facilitate gear changes in the ANDRA Street Bike class.  ANDRA wishes to advise that the wording in section 3.10.1, STREET BIKE, Drive Train, d) Transmission on page 44 of the current ANDRA Rulebook has been amended to read:

 

"Air or electric gear change devices not permitted. Each individual shift must be controlled manually by the rider's foot. Ignition/fuel interruption to facilitate gear change permitted."

 

This is effective immediately.
